GQ x BREGUET CLASSIC TOUR

Last December, we were approached to commission a suit for Mike Christensen, Editor in Chief of GQ Australia. The commission was to be featured in Breguet’s Classic Tour - a celebration of the modern gentlemen around the world. Trunk Tailors joined The Armoury, WW Chan and Huntsman in outfitting the videos for the event.

We made a full canvas peak lapel suit by hand, using one of our favourite Italian mills. The fabric is a subtle herringbone which works well for all formalities. The jacket is hand stitched with grey mother of pearl buttons, milanese buttonhole, pick stitching around the lapel and jetted pockets with a ticket pocket. The sleeves are cut larger and inserted to the soft shoulder to add a natural look to the garment.
